Signs of Fiction
In my graduate project from Shenkar College, I wanted to free my mind from known shapes and explore what kind of aesthetic can be created by experimental research, when the outcome is not expected. I intuitively created 3D sculptures in classic goldsmith technique and adjusted them into wearable pieces that marked unconventional body parts. By forming this dialogue, I was able to examine aesthetic principles such as balance, tension, asymmetry, layers and movement.
In 2014 I presented this collection at the ITS (International Talent Support) competition and won the first prize awarded by Swarovski.
