Hi, my name is Lior

I’m a designer and a creative director based in London. I’m currently pursuing my MA and MSc in Innovation Design Engineering at the Royal College of Art and Imperial College London. I hold a BA in Jewellery Design from Shenkar College of Engineering and Design in Israel.

I aim to explore human needs and believe that design is a powerful tool that can be used to make positive change in people’s lives. With a minimalist approach aesthetically and practically I strive to find a simple and smart solutions for complex problems. When designing, I trust my abilities and common sense but also love to work in teams as I think that great ideas come from great relationships.

During my BA studies I worked as a design intern in Marks & Spencer’s jewellery department. In 2014 I established my independent label in Tel Aviv. My vision was to transform and disrupt the Israeli conservative fine jewelry industry. In 2015 I merged my business with that of a classmate and launched Contour Studio. As a business owner I gained experience in brand identity and strategy, art direction, Concept development and ideation, solving manufacturing challenges, marketing and clients relationships.
